In addition to the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, Google unveiled tonight a new laptop called the Pixel Slate.
Google unveils Pixel Slate
The Pixel Slate is Google’s latest laptop with keyboard that you can pick and stylus. He runs on Chrome OS, but also apps from the Play Store to download. This is useful because you have access to all Android apps. This provides the Pixel Slate the convenience of a tablet, but is powerful enough to take your laptop to replace.
The device follows the Pixelbook on, but that was never available in the Netherlands. The latest Google tablet officially in our country appeared the Pixel C, which in 2015 was released. It seems that the Pixel Slate the Netherlands also skipped.
The Pixel Slate looks like a thin tablet and has rounded schermhoeken. This runs the monitor perfectly in the back. Google particularly pays attention to the screen, which makes games and videos look a lot better.

For both work and entertainment
Additionally, Google has speakers on the front side in your direction, so the audio is much deeper and clearer sounds. This is particularly useful while watching movies.
The Pixel Slate has two cameras: 1 on the front and back. Both sensors have a resolution of 8 megapixel. This is enough to, for example, to make video calls with family and friends.
In addition, Google uses machine learning so that the laptop will learn your preferences. Frequently used apps are, therefore, directly under the search screen of your home menu so that your productivity goes up. Of course the Google Assistant to be present.
The backlit keyboard click easily on the tablet, so that you can immediately start typing. With the stylus, you can easily take notes. The Pixel Slate is available from 599 dollars and will be available later this year, but probably not in the Netherlands.
