MOBILE phone on holiday is cheap

Vodafone reduces with effect from June 1 the rates for mobile calls from abroad to a fixed 25 cents per minute (plus 99 cents connection fee). It does not from which country, within Europe they are calling. Called abroad is also considerably cheaper. From this summer will pay the receiver, regardless of the duration of the call, once 99ct each time he called.

The adjustment to fit in Vodafones intention to allow for simple and easy subscription forms. In particular, the unclear rates for the foreign telephone traffic and the associated sky-high roaming charges was widely regarded as one of the biggest annoyances of mobile callers.
