The German telecom giant T-Mobile launched last week in the Netherlands, an extensive advertising campaign for its Wi-fi services and (flat-fee) subscriptions to the man. This explains the telco, after the failed partnership with Orange, its UMTS services for the time being in the refrigerator. On the other hand, the number of hotspots in its Wi-fi network over the last period expanded to more than 500, o.a. at all McDonald’s branches.
Everyone, with a suitable PDA, MOBILE phone or other device, can use the T-Mobile Hotspots. Subscribers pay € 20 per month for unlimited access and bandwidth while other users pay through prepaid vouchers or credit cards.
