The new BMW 3 Series Touring revealed

Following In the footsteps of the 3 Series sedan and now the wagon, and BMW unveiled the new 3 Series Touring. The BMW 3-Series Touring the sixth generation, and is longer, wider, higher, bigger, and more muscled than his predecessor.

The new BMW 3 Series Touring is 76 mm longer than its predecessor and now measures 4.709 mm. Also, the width of the car has increased, with a 16-mm 1.827 mm. The height increased by 11 mm-1.440 mm. The wheelbase is 41 mm wider than its predecessor, and is now 2.851 mm. The track width front: 43 mm and it grew to 1.587 mm, and the width is left with a 21 mm diameter up to 1.604 mm. The size of that promise to contribute to the more sporty and agile handling.

The cargo area has been increased to 500 liters, and the total volume was increased to 32 gallons, that adds up to a total luggage capacity of over 1,500 litres when folded down rear seat. Automatic opening and closing of the bagageklep is also included.

Engines

There is a choice of two petrol and three diesel models from the market, and by november 2019 at the latest there will even be two gasoline models, and dieselvariant.

In the summer of 2020, we expect the 3-Series Touring by means of plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Market

The world premiere of the new BMW 3 Series Touring at the BMW Group #NEXTGen event at the BMW Welt in Munich, from the 25th to the 27th of June, 2019 at the latest. With the first show happening in september at the IAA in Frankfurt, germany.

On september 28, 2019, the market, and is likely to be the prices as well.
